| ‘New Member in 2019: Having not played tennis for many years, last summer I dropped down to Abbeyleix Tennis Club on one of its weekly social nights. I was a little nervous but immediately received a warm welcome and the club members organising the social nights made getting involved extremely easy and fun for all. Weekly group lessons were also a great way of getting to know other club members, while trying to improve my game. For anyone thinking they’d like to give tennis a try (beginners or those returning to the game), I recommend contacting the club and coming down on one of the social nights to give it a go in a friendly environment.’ |
